First Bra Foundation℠ began at clair de lune in Overland Park, Kansas, where breast cancer survivors frequently shopped to receive an understanding and compassionate post-treatment “first bra” experience with clair de lune’s wide range of sizes, fitting expertise and variety of high-quality, European-influenced products.
Now, as a nonprofit, charitable organization established under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), First Bra Foundation is proud to count among its supporters not only clair de lune, but also several other sponsoring individuals, businesses and organizations who support First Bra’s mission by donating time and treasure, and by fulfilling survivors’ requests for bras and fittings. First Bra is also fortunate to have engaged a talented board of directors to oversee the fiduciary management of the organization.

The momentum around First Bra is already growing. Cancer Services of Mercy Health Systems in St. Louis and St. Luke’s East, Lee’s Summit, MO are our hospital partners. First Bra will continue to add partners in the near future.
